-Miami Carnival reps cross the pond Expands to Sierra Leonne, West Africa and Ghana to expand and blend Caribbean and African music into a carnival fusion-
Miami Broward One Carnival Board Member, John Beckford was in Sierra Leone, West Africa earlier this year, continuing talks for collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Affairs about their African-Caribbean Festival!
The Festival, to be a unique blend of Sierra Leonean and Caribbean culture, will happen from the 28th December, 2022 to 2nd January, 2023 in the Sierra Leone Capital of Freetown. Miami Broward One feels that the market is ripe to blend our product with other specially-selected international initiatives in order to attract new patrons and masqueraders and encourage a global fusion of the arts.
To this end, Beckford was also in Ghana, earlier in the year!
While collaborating with other promoters from far and wide, we aim to create a truly globally, diversified product in Miami Carnival. We hope to bring one of the top AfroBeat artists in Sierra Leone to Miami Carnival 2022! Stay Tuned on this Development. This music is HOT!
