MIAMI BROWARD CARNIVAL REMAINS SET FOR SUNDAY, OCTOBER 9, 2016 AT MIAMI-DADE COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS

Panorama and Kings & Queens Competition Rescheduled from Friday to Saturday Evening from 3 pm -11pm
Attention all revelers and masqueraders! No need to fear; Miami Carnival is still here!

Miami, FL – Due to impending severe weather expected for Thursday and Friday, the Miami Carnival One Host Committee (MBOCHC) has made some scheduling changes to this year’s events to ensure that public safety is our number one priority.

Our “Food Truck Invasion” event (previously scheduled at 12 PM, Friday, October 7, 2016) at Central Broward Regional Park has been cancelled.

The Miami Carnival’s King & Queen and Panorama will now take place on Saturday, October 8, 2016 from 3 pm -11 pm at Central Broward Regional Park (3700 NW 11th Pl, Lauderhill, FL 33311) immediately following MBC’s official J’Ouvert. Patrons who have tickets for Friday, will be honored for Saturday entrance into the King & Queens/Panorama event ONLY at 3 PM. Tickets bought for Panorama will not be accepted for entry to J’Ouvert Saturday from 7 AM – 3 PM.  All tickets can be purchased onwww.miamibrowardcarnival.com.
The Miami Carnival official J’Ouvert will remain as scheduled at Central Broward Regional Park from 7 am – 3 pm.

In addition, the Miami Carnival Parade of Bands and Concert will remain as schedule and planned on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at the Miami-Dade County Fairgrounds (10901 SW 24th St, Miami, FL 33165).
